I first came to Florence in 1993, and since 2006 it has been home. After a career in fashion, I created This Tuscan Life and found my way to watercolour.
Today I paint, teach and design from my Tuscan studio. Join me for a workshop in Florence, learn at your own pace with my online course, or take a little Tuscany home with an original painting, a silk scarf or a linen tea towel.
I’m excited to share my newest work: a small collection of silk scarves inspired by my original watercolour paintings.
Each design begins as a hand-painted artwork in my Tuscan studio, before being transformed into wearable silk pieces that move with light, colour, and everyday life.
This first release includes two designs, each available as a 90cm x 90cm scarf and a bandeau.

I first discovered watercolour painting when I arrived in Florence in 1993. That initial experience sparked a journey that has unfolded over the past three decades. Now, nearly thirty years later, I'm back painting in the city I've proudly called home for almost twenty years.
I’m passionate about capturing the beauty of florals, landscapes, and portraits, and I also love creating original watercolour pieces that preserve your most cherished memories.
