Even though I don’t love the cold weather, Autumn is one of my favourite times here in Florence. The colours of the city are so beautiful as the leaves change colour and the days become shorter. I was just looking back on some of my favourite photos from last Autumn and though I would share some of the Tuscan beauty here. These have been mainly taken from the Viale Michelangelo, one of my favourite walks as has some of the best views of Florence and is also so close to home.
The above stairs are being re-built at the moment so the next photo I post of them will show them looking perfectly new. I kind of liked them looking old with the moss growing over their surface but I guess they were a bit dangerous. The new stairs are being made out of beautiful, large stone pavers so they still blend into the landscape perfectly.
Good to see you back online with this new blog, Lisa!
