Benvenuto or Welcome to my life in Tuscany.  
My name is Lisa Brancatisano and I am an Australian living in Florence, Italy.  This is my first of what I hope will be many more posts sharing with you my favourite places to eat, drink, shop and play here in beautiful Tuscany.  At the moment it is so hot here – the last week has been in the high 30’s (celsius) and on the weekend it even reached 41!!!  
Luckily it is not too far to escape to the beach where you can often find me on the weekends. We either go to Pietrasanta in Versilia where my sister lives or to Cecina which is in the province of Livorno. I will go into more detail in the blog on the beach lifestyle here in Italy.
