Aperitivo at Flo Bar – Florence

I never get tired of this view!

Last night we enjoyed one of my favourite past-times here in Italy – The Aperitivo! This starts in most bars between 7 / 7.30pm where you pay a little bit more for a drink but there is also a buffet of food on offer which is included in the drink price.
We went to Flo Bar which is up above the city of Florence near Piazza Michelangelo. It is a favourite of ours during the summer months as it is not only outside but boasts beautiful views of the city below. All cocktails are 8 euro which also includes the amazing buffet food where you can eat as much as you like. On offer was pasta, cous cous, stuffed and crumbed olives, fried veges, various salads and fruit.
There is no cover charge upon entry to Flo.

The photo above was taken at around 9pm and the sky was such a vivid rusty orange. A cool breeze was all that was missing as the temperature was still in the 30’s.

Below is a pic of the Flo sign as seen at street level and the amusing sign for the bathroom.
