We have just spent a very relaxing week in Pietrasanta with my brother and his family who are visiting from Australia.
Luckily for us, Chris and Marian booked a beautiful beach club, Versiliana Beach which we were able to enjoy as their guests.

You really couldn’t ask for anything more from a beach club. Great service, amazing food, beautiful pool, private changing cabins with optional shower and even a ‘mini club’ to keep your bambini entertained while you relax and work on that tan.

Every ‘Tenda’ comes with two flat beds, two deck chairs, a director’s chair and a lockable box to keep your valuables while you are swimming or walking along the beach.

There is no cash kept on the premises so all transactions are made using your member card. It is very convenient except for when you are the guest and want to offer to pay for lunch.

As the water at the beach was a little rough for swimming with our young children, we spent a lot of time by the pool. The bagnino / life guards are very attentive and it was really reassuring to have an extra pair of eyes looking out for the kids especially with Matteo who loved to stand right on the edge of the pool and mimic doing an impressive dive like his older cousin Joseph!

I can’t believe I’m going to be back at work tomorrow and on a flight to Berlin for a few days. I will be imagining myself back on the beach eating my fruit platter and hoping that I will be back soon!
